THE TRUE JOURNEY
After death the soul is reincarnated in the body of an animal.I saw an elephant with a wooden leg,
a hedgehog with the trots,
blind monkeys, dressed as deities,
a paralysed rabbit,
a parrot without feathers,
leprous monkeys with bleeding buttocks,
a dog suffering from insanity.
I wonder what prompted the soul to go looking there.

DE WARE REIS
Na de dood reïncarneert de ziel in een dierenlichaam.Ik zag een olifant met een houten been,
een stekelvarken met buikloop,
blinde apen, gekleed als godheden,
een lam konijn,
een papegaai zonder pluimen,
lepreuze apen met bloedende billen,
een hond die leed aan krankzinnigheid.
Ik vraag me af welk plezier de ziel daar is gaan zoeken.
