Na Ye

Chanting

Sometimes English,
sometimes a spider,
sometimes a web torn by the wind,
sometimes what we humans call victory
and its shadow in the next day.
God is better than politics.
She reads a book called Bible to all creatures under the sun.
In her voice rises a church:
"I love my fatherland
even though he’s sick all over his body..."
