THE TRUE AND KNOWN NAME NEVER CAME

The bird
that some called Time
stretched out in the desert of men
and each morning
tangled up in their eyes. 

They tried to build
a word
but there were not enough stones:
NOBODY COULD UNDERSTAND EACH OTHER
FROM THEN ON

NUNCA LLEGÓ EL VERDADERO Y SABIDO NOMBRE

NUNCA LLEGÓ EL VERDADERO Y SABIDO NOMBRE

El ave
que algunos llaman Tiempo
se alargó en el desierto de los hombres
y cada mañana
se enredó en sus ojos.

Trataron de construir
una palabra
pero faltaron piedras:
NADIE PUDO ENTENDERSE
DESDE ENTONCES
