Sunday 11 June - Celebration
The more personal, the more universal. The inspiring poetic view on everyday or unique events matters and that's what we will be celebrating this day! We are going to highlight poetry made by deaf poets, centre stage. We are going to award prizes: The C. Buddingh' Prize for the best poetry debut of the year and the Brockway Prize for the best poetry translation from Dutch. We celebrate the imagination of children during Poetry Kids, and the poetry of BN-ers, with poet Erik Jan Harmens and ... (surprise!), we pay tribute to the unforgettable Remco Campert, go on an adventure with a poetry route full of surprises on Katendrecht and much more. Poetry, poetry, poetry, party!
