Hedva Harechavi

Biography

Painter and poet Hedva Harechavi was born on Kibbutz Degania B, and has lived since childhood in Jerusalem. She graduated from Bezalel Art School. Her works have been shown both in solo and in group exhibitions in Israel and abroad.

Harechavi’s poems have been translated and published in anthologies in various languages. Harechavi has won several awards, among them the prestigious Prime Minister\'s Prize. Some of her volumes of poetry are The Other (1993), I just want to tell you (1985) and Adi (1981).
