Biography
Zhang Zhihao (张执浩), poet and novelist, is a member of the Writers Association in Hubei province, central China. Born in 1965 in Jingmen, Hubei, he graduated from the History Department of the Central China Normal University in 1988. He has published five novels and four collections of poetry, winning numerous awards including China's Poetry Prize in 2002, the People's Literature Prize in 2004, the October Prize in 2011, Poet of the Year from the prestigeous Chinese Literature Awards of Southern Daily in 2014, and the Chen Zi-ang Prize from Poetry  in 2016. He is the executive editor of the Chinese Poetry Quarterly in Wuhan.
