Poetry Writing Workshop by Ingmar Heytze

Poetry Writing Workshop by Ingmar Heytze

Do you write poetry for fun and want to learn to write even better? Then join the writing workshop with Ingmar Heytze on Wednesday, June 7. In this workshop by Poetry International and Bibliotheek Rotterdam you will learn what it takes to write a good poem, with the best tips and tricks from one of Holland's most popular poets. The workshop is Dutch spoken.

Ingmar Heytze's impressive oeuvre consists of no less than twelve successful books of poetry and a whole series of occasional poems that many people remember. He himself describes his poetry as 'poetry for people who don't like poetry'. His lines of poetry adorn many facades all over the country. On June 9, 10 and 11 he can be seen at the 53rd Poetry International Festival, where for three days you can enjoy eye-catching poets from all over the world and surprising events where the joy of language shines through.
