Ester Naomi Perquin

Reading

Because of "her sharp mind, creative personality and great sense of language," Ester Naomi Perquin (Netherlands) was named (the ideal) Poet Laureate in early 2017. In no-nonsense language, she asks questions and provides answers that enthusiastically expose the absurdity of the everyday. We are so curious to read some of the poems from her latest collection, Unsolicited Advice (2022), which is so full of the skillfully misleading language our politicians get away with.
