Biography
Pooyan Farmanbar's poetry is very much of today, shunning the didactic and presenting what has been called the cinema of the text. For instance, in the poem "Lose", instead of addressing the reader directly he takes on the gaze of a masochistic Jesus, or in the poem "Deceit", he takes on the persona of someone who wants to deceive himself.
