about (for example): nightingales,
or boys playing tag
in the evening twilight, blue
as the smoke from grandpa’s pipe
but it’s become rather difficult since
the road to heaven’s been paved

in een lenteschemering, blauw
als de rook uit grootvaders pijp
maar het werd ietwat moeilijk, sinds
de weg naar de hemel geplaveid is
met strontium 90
