Childless kings and queens
Childless kings and queens generally end up having a daughter.A daughter!
The shout of disappointment echoes through the whole kingdom. They are disappointed.
This girl-child has to promise gifts, predictions round the cradle, a prince and all that follows. They calculate each illness, add up each success.
A path in life, what is it? Great expectations in the lines of a palm, oh yes… but then what else? Between the rôles of father, mother, child, the one who draws the losing card will remember.

Kinderloze koningen en koninginnen
Kinderloze koningen en koninginnen krijgen aan het eind meestal een meisje.
Een meisje!
De kreet van teleurstelling weerklinkt in het hele koninkrijk. Ze zijn teleurgesteld.
Dat kind moet een belofte zijn van geschenken, voorspellingen rond de wieg, een prins en alles wat daaruit volgt. Men schat ziektes in, somt successen op.
Een levensweg, wat is dat? Grote verwachtingen in de lijnen van de hand, ja… Maar verder? Wie de slechte kaart trekt als de rollen van vader, moeder, kind worden vergeven, zal het zich heugen.
Een meisje!
