A woman fits into a dresswhy her husband left she does not know
fitting into the dress cheers her up
a man passes the shop
sees her whirling in the window
the woman takes off the dress
here there beyond
dresses walk containing women
that don’t fit

Een vrouw past een jurk
waarom haar man weg is weet ze niet
het passen van de jurk vrolijkt haar op
een man passeert de winkel
ziet haar draaien in de ruit
de vrouw trekt de jurk uit
hier daar ginds
lopen jurken met vrouwen erin
geen een past
