The dogs sensed the waveand bounded up the mountainsides
Thousands of people died
but not a single dog
Twenty-four hours later the dogs roamed
the ruins of the beach hotel
as calmly as in the hours before
the wave engulfed the town

Hundene i Khao Lak
Hundene været flodbølgenog sprang oppover fjellsidene
Tusener av mennesker døde
men ikke en eneste hund
Et døgn senere streifer hundene
i ruinene av strandhotellet
like rolige som i timene før
bølgen skyllet over byen
