Frontaal Open Mic: Heldenstemmen

During Poetry International, Frontaal Podium presents a special edition of their beloved open stage, with the theme ‘Heroic Voices’. For years Frontaal has been known as the place in Rotterdam for literary evenings full of energy, performance and individuality. Expect a stage with room for raw edges, moving stories and voices that have to be heard. 

For this special edition, we are looking for performers with an ode in their pen: who are your heroes? Who inspired your words, your style, your voice? And how does that resonate in your work? Whether you are a spoken word artist, poet, storyteller or something in between-Frontaal invites you to apply for this open mic. The language of communication is Dutch, but English-language work is also welcome.

You can apply from May 1-16. Send a sample of your work (text or video) and a photo + short bio to info@frontaalpodium.com. The program will be hosted by actress, MC and moderator Jennifer Muntslag.
