Erik Jan Harmens
Because of his fascination with poetry written by famous Dutch people, Erik Jan Harmens has a special meeting this festival Sunday with Imca Marina, one of Holland's best-known singers. His latest of six books of poetry was published in February: De man die blauw werd (The man who turned blue) contains intense, crystal-clear, furious poetry about not being able to be in groups, but also not wanting to be ostracized by them, following his diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder at age 50. He wrote collections of poetry with Rick de Leeuw and Ilja Leonard Pfeijffer and was the first winner of the NK Poetry Slam (in 2002!).
Host: Soukaïna Bennani.
