Tickets

Festival day tickets and passe-partouts
Day tickets and weekend pass-partouts for the festival on June 9, 10 and 11 2023 can be purchased online. After ordering, you will receive your e-ticket(s) in your mailbox.

With a day ticket/pass-partout you can visit all festival programs in LantarenVenster, with the exception of workshops and poetry tours. For those, single tickets are sold on this website. 

The program in the foyer of LantarenVenster is freely accessible and can also be visited without festival ticket.

Tickets for the festival can only be purchased via this website and not via the LantarenVenster box office. Poetry International uses platform Stager.

Tickets for cinema program room 6
The film program in hall 6 of LantarenVenster can be visited with a day ticket or passe-partout. If you only want to visit a movie and don't want to see other programs in Hall 1 and 5 of LantarenVenster, then you can order a film ticket for this via the box office of LantarenVenster. The ticketsales will start at 1 May.

For workshops and poetry tours, a separate ticket must be ordered.

Prices, discounts and service costs

Regular prices

Day tickets festival: € 22.50 (Friday and Sunday), € 29.50 (Saturday).

Passe-partouts: € 50.00 (valid Friday to Sunday)

Tickets for workshops and poetry routes are not yet on sale. Keep an eye on the website.

Service costs
All prices mentioned are excluding € 1.50 service costs per ticket.

Refunds or exchange
Unfortunately, you cannot return or exchange day tickets, passe-partouts and single tickets that you have already purchased.

Discounts
Early birds receive a 25% early bird discount on day tickets and passe-partouts. 

RotterdamPas holders, CJP pass holders and students receive 50% discount on day tickets and passe-partouts (1 discount card per pass holder).

Make sure you bring your Rotterdam Pass, CJP pass or student card to the festival and show it at the entrance.

Visiting the festival

Hall access
Upon arrival in LantarenVenster, you will receive a wristband at the festival desk upon showing your festival ticket, which will give access to halls 1, 5 and 6 of LantarenVenster. You are free to enter and exit all programs and venues, but the following applies: full = full. Drinks may be taken into the theatre.

Opening hours
Friday June 9th : The first program starts at 19.30. The last program ends at 23.00. The afterparty ends at 02.00.

Saturday June 10th: the first program starts at 13.30. The last program ends at 23.00. The afterparty ends at 02.00.

Sunday June 11th: The first program starts at 11.00. The last program ends at 19.00.

Hotels
Make your visit to the festival a nice city trip and combine it with an overnight stay in one of the many hotels within walking distance of LantarenVenster and Verhalenhuis Belvédère.    

Food and drinks
Drinks may be taken into the halls.
For dinner you can visit the restaurant in LantarenVenster or one of the surrounding restaurants. We advise to make a reservation in advance.

Disabled access information
LantarenVenster is accessible for people in wheelchairs or with other disabilities. The entrance for hall 1 is on the ground floor. Hall 5 and 6 (film program) can be reached via the lift. This is located in the corridor (on the water side) behind the disabled toilet.

Wheelchairs
Three places have been reserved in each LantarenVenster auditorium for wheelchairs, these places are located at the front of the auditorium on the first row. To make your visit as pleasant as possible, please send an e-mail to kaartverkoop@poetry.nl, stating the date, time and programs you would like to attend. LantarenVenster has a wheelchair available. If you would like to make use of this, please contact us via kaartverkoop@poetry.nl,  stating the date and time of your visit.

Deaf and hard of hearing people
For people with hearing disabilities, a sign language interpreter is available for a number of programs on Sunday. More information will follow soon. If you have any questions in advance, please send an e-mail to kaartverkoop@poetry.nl.

Everyone visiting the festival will receive an e-mail in advance with all the information about their visit.
