Perhaps if she opens the black door, the shadows will escape

Perhaps if she opens the black door, the shadows will escape. You have to know how to face things, they told her. What about this pain, does it belong to me or is it the shadow of my ancestors that falls on me like a blanket. I have to open that black door. Stop dodging its shape. Entering is to abandon oneself. Entering is a leap of faith. Behind it, spells are broken, energy is multiplied. We learn to identify the light of the living.
