Workshop Poetry Performance

Bring your lines, an open attitude and absolutely don't forget your voice.

During Rellie Telg's performance workshop, you will learn how to stand firm when all eyes are on you. Words sometimes come loudest when you speak them out loud, and how to do that you will learn during these workshops. Stage techniques for a heartfelt poetry performance you will apply to your own texts or other poet's work you would love to recite. Bring your text, an open attitude and absolutely don't forget your voice.

Rellie Telg is not her name, skin colour or profession...She likes to breathe life into still lifes with her pen. Creates new worlds with what she finds along the way. Builds word bridges from her heart to yours and serves up the mundane in an as-yet-unknown jacket.

Rellie was born in Suriname. As a child, she made up stories while playing and heard a voice-over for everything she did. When she moved to the Netherlands, her grandmother regularly wrote her letters. Rellie discovered that there were whole worlds hidden in those letters. She thinks that is where her love for word art was born.

Meanwhile, she has climbed many stages, both at home and abroad. She shone in theatre performances, plays in the film Dance Street, has been a model for several projects and gives writing, performance and theatre workshops aa
