How do you still make art when your house could be bombed at any moment? For many Ukrainian poets, the war has radically changed the themes they can write about. During this program we will engage in conversation with refugee Ukrainian poets living in the Netherlands. They share their views on wartime art and poetry. Also shown during this program are the winners of the Ukrainian poetry film contest CYCLOPS. These special poetry videos bring together word and image and approach the situation in the country from different perspectives, for which poetry is the basis.
