If I said I want to die
This becomes a snapshot of myself
as aphrodisiacal hero Simon Bolivar,
Zapatista or Venezuelan,
worn at the edges,
a photo taken before the invention
of photography: after rising to the nth ineffable number
– nobody warned –
the norm has come into effect, glacial:
that no longer acknowledges the rights
of those who aspire to death and tide.

Se dicessi voglio morire
la mia diventa un’istantanea
da eroe afrodisiaco Simon Bolivar,
zapatista o venezuelano,
lesa ai margini,
fotografato prima dell’invenzione
della fotografia: dopo l’ascesa all’ennesimo ineffabile numero
– nessuno ha avvertito –
è scattata la norma, glaciale:
che non riconosce più
validi gli aspiranti di morte e marea.
