Simin Behbahani and International Women's Day

The renowned Iranian poet Simin Behbahani, who was invited to participate in a manifestation in Paris for International Women’s Day, was forbidden to board her plane in Teheran. Behbahani wanted to share her poetry and talk about feminism. In 2009, she won the Simone de Beauvoir Prize for Women’s Freedom.
