A self

As if I were nature itself
I stretch my legs
Like two rivers
On the chairs of alluvium
As if I were a god
With flying locks
The whiteness of which
Night appropriated
like a flock of doves . . .
            With mountains’ shoulders
            And a sun’s forehead

A SELF
