Strangers on a Train

Strangers on a Train

Strangers on a Train

Sliding down
on her eye line
Falling from
when she blinks
And getting caught
in a dimple
Then kissing her rhyming lips

I spent a long holiday with
By the sea
In a bed
Then a bar

Alas all this happened
in a conversation I didn't have with
between Victoria and St. James's
In the standing room before her seat
On the District Line

When she was leaving
I thanked her
for a lifetime O
that I had with
