Stephen Watson passes away, aged 56

PIW poet Stephen Watson, the Capetonian poet born in 1954, has passed away at the age of 56. Watson published nine collections of poetry, the last one entitled The Light Echo. In January, he received the English Academy’s Thomas Pringle Award for his short story “Buiten Street”.
