Samia Ouederni and the Tunisian revolution

Tunisian poet Samia Ouederni read for Migual Algarin, founder of Nuyorican Poets Cafe, who interviewed her about her response to the Tunisian revolution in the form of a poem. Ouderni became the first Tunisian woman to publish poetry in English when she was 24. Her poem ‘Will To Live’ is chanted by Tunisians in their protests against the government.
