CLIMBING HIGH

1.

I look at the world from a mountain top,
feeling high. Under the heaven there’s no one else
but me. The sun rises in my eyes. No one else can see it.
The sun sets for me and only me.
I walk out of this body and fly down
but there is nothing down there for me to touch.
I’m the first human in this world, undying.

2.

I go hunting in the mountains
but not for wood or beasts.
I hunt for gold, silver, and bronze.
What I witness from the mountain top
is not the sun spewing from clouds
but the entire solar system
slowly rising above my head.

登高

登高

 其一

  我在峰顶观天下,自视甚高;
  普天之下,我不作第二人想;
  日出只在我眼中,别无他人看到;
