Wout Waanders
Wout Waanders is a poet and performer, known for his playful, narrative poetry. His debut collection Parkplan (2020) won the C. Buddingh’ award and was nominated for the Herman de Coninck award. In his work, he moves between poetry and fantasy, where the everyday takes on a magical charge. In early 2025, We are still far from halfway appeared; a collection in which sorrow takes flight and worries rise like balloons. In addition to his solo work, Wout is a member of The Literary bByband, with which he explores the boundaries of poetry and performance.
