Tsead Bruinja

Tsead Bruinja (1974) is a poet with a broad and inclusive approach to poetry. He was Poet Laureate (2019-2020) and wrote poems for national events for NRC Handelsblad and Met het Oog op Morgen. His work moves between Dutch and Frisian, such as his Book Week poem (2023), which was translated into forty languages ​​and dialects. With De eerste bloemlezing van de Nederlandse poëzie (First anthology of Dutch poetry; 2022) he brought an innovative view of the poetry of the Kingdom. In 2024 Wat deed ik daar was published.
