Nisrine Mbarki

Nisrine Mbarki is a multilingual writer, poet, literary translator and programme maker. Her literary work transcends genres; she writes poetry, short stories and theatre texts. As a literary translator, she translates female and feminist voices and poets from Arabic and English into Dutch. She also works as a programme maker for various international literature festivals. In January 2022, she made her debut with her poetry collection oeverloos at publisher Pluim. The collection was nominated for the C. Buddingh' Prize and Herman de Coninck Prize.
