Micaela Paredes Barraza

Micaela Paredes Barraza (Santiago, 1993) is a writer, editor, and creative exploration workshop leader through her project La voz de Sila. She holds a degree in Hispanic Literature from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile and a master’s degree in Creative Writing from New York University. She has published the poetry books Nocturnal (Cerrojo, 2017), Ceremonias de Interior (Cerrojo, 2019), and Propétides (Devenir, winner of the Miguel Hernández–Comunidad Valenciana International Poetry Prize, 2024). She received the Gabriela Mistral Literary Games Prize in 2024 for Best Unpublished Novel with Mi templo contra el cielo. She currently lives in Madrid.
