Macarena García Moggia

Macarena García Moggia (Viña del Mar, 1983) holds a PhD in Philosophy. She has published Aldabas (Edicola, 2016), Maratón (Cuneta, 2017), La transparencia de las ventanas. Ensayos sobre la mirada (Editorial UV, 2022), A un elefante (Cuadro de Tiza, 2024), and Ensayos de una casa (Alquimia, 2024). She has received the Chilean Ministry of Culture’s Literary Works Award (2019), the Chilean Academy of Language Prize (2023), and the Santiago Municipal Literature Prize (2023). She has translated works from Italian by authors such as Antonia Pozzi, Claudio Morandini, and Raúl Ruiz. She directs the publishing house Mundana and teaches at the Institute of Art of the Pontifical Catholic University of Valparaíso.
