Ingmar Heytze
Ingmar Heytze (1970, Utrecht) is a poet, writer and performer, solo or with his band Asfaltfeeën. He writes poems for people who think they don't like poetry, with subtle humor and a keen eye for the everyday. Since his debut, he has published twelve poetry collections. Early 2025, his new collection Postkamer was published by Uitgeverij Van Oorschot. Heytze was the first city poet of Utrecht (2009-2011) and received the C.C.S. Crone Prize for his oeuvre. Since 2022, he has been the house poet for the radio 1 program Met het oog op morgen. In addition to poetry, he has written columns, plays and non-fiction.
