Iduna Paalman
Iduna Paalman is a poet and writer. Her debut collection, De grom uit de hond halen (2019), was awarded the Poetry Debut Prize and nominated for various other awards. In 2022, she followed up with Bewijs van bewaring, with which she won the J.C. Bloem Prize. In addition to poetry, she writes prose, plays, and essays for, among others, De Groene Amsterdammer and NRC Handelsblad. She has performed on major stages such as Lowlands and De Nacht van de Poëzie and was a writer in residence at the Jan van Eyck Academy. Paalman is also active as a presenter and teacher.
