Fernando Pérez Villalón

Fernando Pérez Villalón is a writer, doctor in comparative literature at New York University, and a professor at Universidad Alberto Hurtado, where he leads the doctorate in Media Studies. His work includes poetry, artist books, and transmedia works that combine text, image, and sound. He translated classical Chinese poetry and Brazilian literature. His essays La imagen inquieta (2016) and Imágenes de imágenes (2022) explore the interaction between visual art and cinema. He is part of the poetry and music project Orquesta de poetas.
