Daan Doesborgh

Daan Doesborgh (1988) is a poet, writer, translator and podcast maker, driven by a boundless love for poetry in all its forms. He won the Dutch Poetry Slam Championship in 2010 and was city poet of Venlo from 2006 to 2011. His translation of Ted Hughes' Crow was published in 2020 by De Bezige Bij, and he has previously published two poetry collections. He collaborates with music ensembles, wrote an opera libretto and is a regular guest at universities and festivals, both nationally and internationally. In 2024, his collection Moet het zo was published.
