
Braulio Fernández Biggs
Braulio Fernández Biggs holds a Master’s degree in Literature from the University of Chile and a PhD in Literature from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. He is a writer and a full professor at the Institute of Literature at the University of the Andes, Chile, and a corresponding member of the Chilean Academy of Language. Among his many academic works are annotated translations of William Shakespeare, Christina Rossetti, Oscar Wilde, T.S. Eliot, and C.S. Lewis. His creative work includes short story collections such as Corazón de buey (1993), El ciego y los tuertos (2015), and La terca audacia de la mosca (2022); the novel Una novelita inglesa (2018); and the poetry collections Orfeo y Eurídice (2016) and La canción de amor del hombre loco (Buenos Aires, 2019).
