The name that calls me

I’m the one who washes his hands
Before writing
Don’t ask me what I’m called
I have no name
I come from there
From that non-place seeking a moon
To unearth its mystery
A pen name’s no good to me
Because poet
It’s all the same
Even a red carpet couldn’t bring
The blood justice that makes me
Pass
For a death-deserving glazier
I’m covered in blood
So
I wash myself
That’s my name that comes from there.

De naam die mij roept

Ik ben degene die zijn handen wast
voor het schrijven
vraag me niet hoe ik heet
ik heb geen naam
ik kom van daar
van dat non-oord op zoek naar maan
om zichzelf uit zijn schaduwplaats op te graven
een auteursnaam steekt
want dichter
kan mij het schelen
geen rode loper verleent me
het geschikte bloedkarakter
dat me laat doorgaan
voor een glazenmaker die zijn dood verdient
ik werd adergelaten
dus
ik was me
zo kom ik aan mijn naam

Je suis celui qui se lave les mains
Avant d'écrire
Ne me demande pas comment je m'appelle
Je n'ai pas de nom
Je viens de là
De ce non-lieu qui cherche lune
Pour s'exhumer de son point d'ombre
Un nom d'auteur me fait bien mal
Parce que poète
Ça m'est égal
Ni tapis rouge ne saura rendre
La justesse du sang qui me fait
Passer
Pour un vitrier qui vaut sa mort
Je suis saigné
Donc
Je me lave
Voilà mon nom qui vient de là
