Reading Gershwin Bonevacia

Gershwin Bonevacia has been Amsterdam's official poet from March 2019 to March 2022. He likes to approach topics such as the city, education and the past with a playful philosophical approach, and is just as likely to interweave Harry Potter or Balenciaga into his poems. As a poet and writer, Gershwin collaborates with organizations such as the Van Gogh Museum, TEDx and the Dutch libraries. His debut collection I Bought A Bicycle was published in 2017, a revised edition was published in 2019. His new poetry collection When I Was Little, I Wasn't Afraid has recently been published by Das Mag.
