In his poetry, Jan Lauwereyns (Belgium) is guided by a rich imagination, fueled by a purposeful selective gaze. In 2012 he received the VSB Poetry Prize for Hemelsblauw, for its "passion and commitment to the world and its idiosyncrasies," but certainly also for its humor, lyricism and interweaving of worlds and worldviews. This year his new collection Zombie seeks soul geno(o)t will be released.
