In keeping with her dubby nature, this illustrator and poet could not choose between her love of image and text and so decided to embrace both. This results in visual texts that highlight themes of duality, post-traumatic growth and being incredibly fed up with the oppression of womanhood. Amidst her tender lyrics, a middle finger is raised here and there. She has been heard at Woordnacht, Zomer op 't Schouwburgplein, Poetry Slam and Unboxing Rotterdam. At the moment she is working with Rewriters on a project for combinations of poetry and visual art in the public space.

Poetry x Poetsclub Rotterdam - Open Mic
Nowhere else in this city is poetry so intensely experienced and lived as at PoetsClub Rotterdam. Every first Wednesday of the month all the poets of the city gather in Café De Schouw for an evening full of new poems. Everyone is welcome and is invited by hosts Jeroen Naaktgeboren and Miguel Santos to read at least one new poem in the packed pub. On the festival Friday and Saturday frequent PoetsClub poets perform their poems on the foyer stage in LantarenVenster.
